cbf — CMS/Blog/Forum

A very flexible CMS, blog, forum, and template engine for PHP

cbf, also known by its bacronym CMS/Blog/Forum as well as the slightly more colourful common internet phrase, will be a very portable and flexible CMS, blog, forum, and template engine written entirely in PHP. cbf is based on the idea that blogs and forums, from a backend point of view, are remarkably similar. cbf, by building on top of a flexible template engine, will attempt to offer the intermediate of all these different services, with the frontend being configurable enough to make it appear as if it were designed for one specific task. The advantages of this approach would be unlimited flexibility, as well as tight integration between all of the different community services (blogs, forums) on a single website.

cbf is currently only in the design stages, and will not be ready for release for quite a while. When updated information on cbf is available, it will be posted here.
